The Brewers Hall is situated in Aldermanbury Square, an oasis amongst the high rise modernity of the City of London, the welcome open space between the Guildhall and London Wall. From the ground floor lobby an oak staircase leads to a circular reception area on the first floor, also served by a lift. Brewers' Hall is an adaptable function suite consisting of three interconnecting rooms:
The Livery Hall, Court Room and the Committee Room. The two principal rooms, which can be cooled in Summer or heated in Winter, are served with air conditioning . The Livery Hall (13.4m x 8m) is an elegant venue for the larger gatherings. It is panelled in English oak with hand carved architraves to the doors and windows. Three fine chandeliers hang from the ceiling which has a plasterwork band of hop leaves and barley. The focal point is the Company's Arms above a segmented pediment with the Company's Silver displayed below.
The Court Room: The Court Room (8.5m x 7m) when not acting as the anteroom for events in the Hall, provides an intimate space for meetings, luncheons and dinners. The room is panelled in pine and has a delicately moulded ceiling. The fireplace of Verona marble has a Carrara panel of infant Bacchanals by Sir Charles Wheeler PRA. The Committee Room (3.6m x 5.4m) is located off the lobby and may be used as a registration area, an additional meeting room or as an informal television studio for interviews.
Brewers Hall can accommodate up 82 for lunch / dinner and 125 guests for reception.
