Food Credentials

Daniel Clifford

Both Kudos and Seasoned Events benefit from their ongoing working relationship with Daniel Clifford; Chef Patron of Midsummer House, our 2 Michelin starred restaurant in Cambridge which has been part of Crown Group UK's impressive portfolio since 1998.

Daniel and his culinary team have collaborated with Seasoned Events team in the past to successfully bring "a Taste of Midsummer" to some of our more exclusive events as well Daniel being Creative Director for Kudos.

Daniel spent the first 12 years of his career and training in some of the best restaurants in the UK and France, and took over at Midsummer House in August 1998. The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin Star in 2002 followed by the second in 2005. We have held 4 AA Rosettes since 2005 and currently have 7/10 in the Good Food Guide.

Daniel Clifford’s quest for culinary perfection has taken the restaurant to another level over the past 12 years since he took over in August 1998; his cooking has a modern-focus which is underpinned by classical French technique offering seriously sophisticated food with dishes arriving dressed to thrill.
